In the city of Compton, California, Michael Clark, Founder & Executive Director of Motivateum Inc, a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) entity, established in 2012 in Los Angeles County is determined to help the communities to become a better place to be healthy and enter adulthood as independent and self-sufficient without crime and being incarcerated. There are many obstacles in life that may be a burden. Having rules is necessary and important and we all must follow rules according to the laws.
Our kids are our future leaders that needs positive role models and point in the right direction without pointing a finger. Children should be happy for the most part of their lives, not sad and depressed. Most kids have to learn emotional intelligence on their own with little coaching. The youth are delicate and need love and guidance. Partnering with schools to teach leadership for children going down the wrong path.
Mr. Clark knows the prison system, being an ex-offender himself, he learn to succeed from the occasion and give back to the community, paying it forward offering free direct educational classroom services of the youth ages 14-18, in his probation school for participants that has been incarcerated and on probation.
This is a specialty program that offers beneficial activities and interaction with students on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, want to expand the days but due to lack of funding this is just a goal in the next few months. Measuring the youth achievements by individual assessments, family interviews, school reports and overall social behavior in society.
His passion and dedication for his students steering them in the right path and Mr.Clark's wonderful and experienced staff focused and hard work for the adolescents to be disciplined and self-determination.
